Registering for Nursery Education Funding

Any unregistered provider who wishes to offer Nursery Education Funding in the academic year will need to request & return their Provider Declaration to NEFWPA@worcestershire.gov.uk to be included on the directory. 

Important Autumn term dates for NEF Providers

Claims

Actual claims

The portal is open for autumn actual claims 1st - 19th September 2025. 

Headcount Week 

Autumn term headcount w/c Monday 15th September. Notice must be given by parents to setting on or before 19th September to transfer funding.

Adjustment claims

Adjustments for autumn term will open 3rd November - 26th November.

Spring Estimate claims

The portal will be open for spring Estimates 24th November - 12th December.

Payments

Estimate Payments

September monthly estimates will be paid w/c 8th September.

October monthly estimates will be paid w/c 6th October.

November monthly estimates will be paid w/c 10th November.

Autumn Actuals payment 

Actuals balance will be paid w/c 8th December.

Autumn Final Adjustment payment

The final adjustment payment will be paid w/c 22nd December.
