Registering for Nursery Education Funding

Any unregistered provider who wishes to offer Nursery Education Funding for the 22/23 academic year will need to request & return their Provider Declaration to NEFWPA@worcschildrenfirst.org.uk to be included on the directory. 

Important Summer term dates for NEF providers

Claims

Summer Estimate claims

The portal will be open for summer estimates 6th March - 17th March.

Actual claims

The portal is open for spring actual claims 3rd April - 5th May 2023. 

Headcount Week 

Spring term headcount w/c Monday 1st May. Notice must be given by parents to setting on or before 5th May to transfer funding.

Adjustment claims

Adjustments for spring term will open 5th June - 11th August.

Autumn Estimates

The portal will be open for autumn estimates 3rd July - 11th August. 

Payments

Estimate Payments

Summer Termly estimates & April (monthly) estimates will be paid w/c 10th April.

May monthly estimates will be paid w/c 8th May. 

June monthly estimates will be paid w/c 12th June.

Summer Actuals payment 

Actuals balance will be paid w/c 10 July.

Final Adjustment payment

Summer final adjustment payment will be paid w/c 21 August.
